Yes, the ActiveMask is certified to this standard Certificate. can be found here.

Yes, the ActiveMask is washable, therefore making it reusable. Simply remove the filters along with the elastic straps and wash the mask in hot soapy water. Dry with a clean cloth.

Replacement filters come in heat sealed foil bags which contain 1 x set of inhale and exhale filters. These are available in quantities of 5 and 10 packs and ordered through enquiries@activemask.com.au.

Yes, we have designed ActiveMask to be worn all day with or without glasses. If you wear glasses, you will not have to worry about them fogging up.

While single-use masks present environmental concerns, and fabric masks raise a range of health and safety issues, ActiveMask is Australian made and engineered for continued daily use, sustained protection, and optimal comfort.
We set out to design a mask that is reusable for life, has top quality filter material, and is designed and made in Australia. ActiveMask is designed to be comfortable to wear, thanks to its soft, gentle silicone seal. It has a multi-layer filter that can be detached for cleaning, sterilising, or replacing. And by having a hard internal surface, it reduces the build-up of moisture in the mask which makes it safer and more comfortable to wear, and easy to clean.
The filter is multi-layered and has a layer of Activated Carbon, originally designed for the British Army for their chemical and biological protection. It also has a layer of P2/N95 filter material originally designed for NASA. Instead of using plastic the ActiveMask is derived from wool, with the natural fibre providing a highly effective natural filtration with low breathing resistance. The results are better airflow and a more comfortable mask.

It is recommended to store ActiveMask in a safe, dry and cool area. Each mask should be labeled to ensure everyone uses their own masks.

Yes, you can communicate well with the mask on. We have focused on filter materials that reduce the breathing resistance which has helped with the ease of communications, and in all our testing, talking has never broken the seal.
